The Frost School of Music is proud to present Frost Music Live. The concert series has over 100 events happening on Coral Gables campus at the University of Miami each academic school year.

Enjoy high-profile concerts and music-related events featuring top GRAMMY®, Emmy®, Tony®, and Pulitzer-prize-winning and nominated guest artists, collaborating with the esteemed Frost School of Music faculty artists and talented students. The series also features off-campus concerts, including Jazz Roots at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Frost Music Live's distinctive programming reflects Miami's unique culture and varied tastes, from classical to jazz and contemporary music to Frost Faculty Recitals and Lectures. Mission Statement

Frost Music Live's mission is to uphold the Frost School of Music’s vision of providing high-quality music education for its students as well as introducing a wide range of music to the community at large. The Frost School of Music intends to foster advancements in music performance, creativity, teaching, and scholarship between its faculty artists and students.

The concert series is known for three distinct programming elements:

  • Presenting international musical guest artists
  • Showcasing Frost School artist-faculty and award-winning student ensembles;
  • Adding educational components such as master classes, open rehearsals, and talks with the artists.
